Dr. Donna Madison-Bell is the owner and founder of DMBell Educational Enrichment Services, an educational enrichment training program. She brings over 20 years’ experience working in public schools, private school systems, higher education, correctional facilities, and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).
Dr. Madison-Bell has worked within the correctional system since 1996 and served as a volunteer at San Quentin State Prison for 5 years as a Resource and Counseling Advisor, taught at Warren County Jail in Bowling Green Kentucky, a mentor at Broward County Women’s Correctional Facility in Florida, and an educator with Five Keys Schools and Programs with the San Francisco Sheriff Department.
Currently, she serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus instructing quantitative research studies to MBA graduates. Also, she serves as a Dissertation Committee at Leo University. She has extensive experience working with students seeking a profession in Information Technology, Medical, and Education. Dr. Madison-Bell consistently demonstrates the ability to build rapport, respect, relationships, foster diversity initiative, serve the community, and seek out those who share common goals.
Dr. Madison-Bell holds a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. In addition, she holds a Master’s Degree in Adult Education, Florida International University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Communication, San Francisco State University. During her studies at University of Phoenix, her research focused is “The Lived Experiences of Volunteers in California’s Correctional” System.”
Dr. Donna Madison-Bell partnered with various Community-Based Organizations (CBO) and educational institutions as a consultant in program development, and facilitated workshops in areas such as staff development, career coaching, and educational enrichment for college preparation to the underserved populations. In addition, Dr. Madison-Bell also served on discussion panels as a mediator and participant. Further, she continues to provide technical consultancy to CBOs and educational institutions regarding administration support, curriculum development, implementation, media production, and research.
